Who we are

We’re a happy bunch here at Capstone Towers – why wouldn’t we be…we get to work with the best authors on the best subjects! We’re a close knit team who get on like a house on fire (with all the support that being part of one of the world’s largest and most successful publishing companies brings!)

Iain Campbell, Publisher

Iain is our big thinking leader and one of those ‘creative’ types. He’s been rocking the business publishing world with Capstone for nearly ten years, first as marketer extraordinaire and now as our editorial chieftain. When he’s not cooking up brilliant book ideas he spends his time nibbling on organic pulses and seeds (he’s a veggy type).

Holly Bennion, Executive Commissioning Editor

Holly’s been around the business publishing block and knows exactly how to squeeze the best material out of any business guru! She is the editor of many a best-selling Capstone book including the magical Paul McGee’s Self-Confidence and the delectable Geoff Burch’s Irresistible Persuasion. The gorgeous Capstone Classics series was also the brain child of Ms. Bennion. In her spare time Holly enjoys nothing more than getting stuck into a bit a finger painting.

Jenny Ng, Development Editor

If you want something done right, Jenny’s your woman. Efficiency is her middle name – in fact, it’s been said by many an author, “Jenny is the best editor I’ve ever worked with”. We’d all concur with that! She has a whole host of winners under her belt from the formidable Graham Davies’ The Presentation Coach to the persuasive Philip Hesketh’s How to Persuade & Influence People. When not giving manuscripts hell you can often find our Jenny photographing her food (seriously, this one isn’t even a joke – she loves her food!)

Jonathan Shipley, Commissioning Editor

Jonathan is our fresh pair of eyes - he's new and ready to roll. He loves all that tweeting and blogging business - right down with the kids he is. He's packed our publishing programme with many a potential bestseller, all we have to do now is watch them fly off the shelves....or e-book stores! One thing you must all know about Jonathan is that he refuses to wear a tracksuit. Seriously, don't even try - it ain't gonna happen.

Vicky Kinsman, Assistant Editor

Vicky has recently joined us from the music world. We can tell she's already impressed by the level of clamour around here. Things are pretty rock 'n' roll at Capstone Towers so she's feeling right at home. From music legends to rock stars of the business world - it's an easy transition.

Megan Saker, Marketing Manager

Megan loves Capstone, it's bordering on weird. She lives it and breathes it. There is nothing she’d rather do than come up with a snappy cover design concept or plan a killer campaign. She’s got witty taglines and persuasive copy coming out of her ears. But don’t ever ask her to go on a VW Camper Van holiday again – she ain’t that type of girl.

Emily Bryczkowski, Senior Marketing Executive

Emily may be small but she’s a feisty one – advertising sales people beware! With an angry determination to optimise ROI wherever she goes, no advertising sales team is safe – she shall forever be known as ‘the pit-bull of marketing’. Emily’s biggest dream is to perform on stage with the West End greats…. Unfortunately she can neither sing nor dance. Shame.

Grace O’Byrne, Content Editor

There isn’t a woman alive who knows more about fonts, papers, binding and finishes than Ms Grace O’Byrne. Grace takes the words and makes them into books – and she can knock up a gorgeous book in record time too! When not rolling in paper samples Grace can be found enjoying the dulcet tones of her most-loved musical hero, Des O’Connor.

Louise Campbell, Publicity Manager

Louise can chat up a business journalist like no one on earth! With a phone constantly clued to her ear and the busiest inbox in Wiley, Louise can prize a story out of anything. When she isn’t buried under a pile of FTs she loves nothing better than getting stuck into her latest Airfix model .
