The Prince's Trust

Founded in 1976, by HRH the Prince of Wales, the Prince’s Trust has provided financial and practical support to the young people who need it most.

Today, it offers its Entreprise Programme, which helps young people to start businesses; its Team Programme, which provides intensive personal development for young people and a series of other awards to help young people to train, or to help their local communities.

It gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. It works with 14-to-30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.

The Prince of Wales’s charity has helped more than 600,000 young people since 1976 and supports 100 more each working day. Last year, 81 per cent of young people supported by The Trust moved into work, education, training or volunteering. Further information about The Prince’s Trust is available at www.princes-trust.org.uk or on 0800 842 842.
