Guy Clapperton is a freelance journalist, speaker, editor and broadcaster who specialises in small business issues and technology. Since the publication of his first book on social media, “This Is Social Media,” (2009) he has been in demand as a speaker in eight countries spanning two continents. He has chaired events at London's Social Media World Forum and also facilitated social media-focused events for Bafta and the BBC; he is also one of the regular news and current affairs commentators on the BBC News Channel.

He has been a journalist for over 20 years, contributing regularly to the Guardian, Times, Telegraph and numerous other newspapers and magazines in the UK.
